Me: Mommy, do you have the phone number for the doctor? I want to make an appointment.
My mom: Isn't it that you always see the doctor once a month in August? Why are you making an appointment?
Me: I know but I want to see her to see if I can only go on birth control for my period.
My mom: YOU HAVING SESS?
Me: -____- No mommy. I just want my period to stop or come less frequently.
My mom: Birth control doesn't do that. It's only if your having sess so you must be having sess.
Me: No, mommy. It also limits the amount of periods you get as a side affect. I learned about it. I looked it up.
My mom: You can't stop your period. It's the natural order of life. You're not going on birth control you don't need it.
Me: Mommy....
My mom: That's how they have complications later on in life. It's hormones. All you need is your sanitary pad....
Me: Mommy.....
My mom: If your having sess then you use birth control. So you must already be having sess. If your having sess just tell me now
Me: Yes mommy. I am. *leaves room) I'm calling her any way.
